Bentley

Aside from Tickfords work on the Aston Martin Lagonda, other makes such as Rolls Royce and Bentley together with Mercedes, were part of the
stretched limo business, which worked out of one of the Tickford units in Tanners Drive, Milton Keynes. Most cars were built in the early to mid-80s to
the specifications requested by their main customer, The Jankel Group.

This company was started by Robert Jankel, who at that time specialised in the supply of one-off luxury limousines and high-protection
armored vehicles. The company survived the demise of its founder and from 2005 to this day still specialises in the supply of built-to-order security
vehicles.
