Taxi
Tickford first converted two Carbodies taxi’s for a London Casino Group, producing an eye-catching stretched limousine, The vehicle made its public début at the Birmingham International Motor Show in 1984.
The conversion was based on a new FX4 taxi which is lengthened by 16 inches after being cut in half. An additional window in the side with a respray to a coach finish. Inside the best Wilton carpet is fitted with a Burr walnut fitted with an inlay.
Full leather interior is fitted, with air-con, colour TV and video all part of the standard specification along with electric windows.
It is believed less than 12 were built.
