Membership Update.

For nearly 30 years, we’ve successfully delivered a quarterly hard copy magazine, but with rising postage costs, we’ve decided to explore a more sustainable approach. In October, we held an Extraordinary Meeting of the Committee to discuss this, and I’m excited to announce that starting with Volume 29, set for May 2026, we’ll be transitioning to an electronic PDF format. While this change may be disappointing for some, it comes with a significant upside: no more subscription fees—yes, you read that right, there will be no annual payments required!

For those who prefer a physical copy, we’re offering the option to purchase a hard copy of the full year’s collection at the end of each year. This will feature the best of the new newsletter format and will be available for a one-time payment, the details of which will be announced soon.

This shift will help streamline our operations, eliminating the need to chase subscriptions and allowing us to focus on what truly matters—serving you better.

The Committee is fully supportive of this transition, and we’re introducing a one-time membership fee for new members, which will cover the welcome pack. This will be a lifetime membership, though you can unsubscribe at any time, should you wish to. We hope to continue growing and evolving together, and we don’t anticipate any further changes in the near future.

 Best regards,

Tickford at One Hundred Book

In celebration of the centenary of introducing the Tickford brand in 1925, it was decided to hold a celebration event and produce our very first book as a strictly 100-off signed limited edition.  This 180-page professionally produced softback publication incorporates many aspects of the past 100 years, offering a full history covering Salmons & Sons to the later Aston Martin Tickford coachwork resurrected in the 1980’s and is in part told by the owners themselves through the many club contributions of the past 28 years.  Additionally, this book also brings us right up to date, including a mention of the latest Tickford Mustang produced in Australia.

There is a limited supply of books left, priced at £15.00 + postage.

Should you wish to secure yourself one of these books please email the club on tickfordownersclub@outlook.com
