Taxi

Tickford converted two taxi’s for a London Casino Group, after which they joined forces with Carbodies of Coventry to produce an eye-catching limousine.
The vehicle made its public début at the International Motor Show in 1984.

The conversion was based on a new FX4 taxi which is lengthened by 16 inches after being cut in half. An additional window in the side with a respray to a coach finish. Inside the best Wilton carpet is fitted with a Burr walnut fitted with an inlay.

Full leather interior is fitted, with air con, colour TV and video all part of the standard specification along with electric windows.
